We are so proud to announce that we have handed over the big cheque to Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven for £6497.33!!! We adored working with the team and raising money for the fabulous people of Worcestershire who need the help and support of the unit.

hotelshopUK has celebrated it's 25th birthday with style!  The team had a red carpet arrival with Paparazzi ready and waiting to snap the glamorous outfits.  The Magician wowed everyone with mind blowing card tricks! Followed by the Awards ceremony and the fabulous band The Duvets played into the early hours! Since Viv Findlay started hotelshopUK in 1999, we have not stood still and the hard work has paid off and gown into a company of over 100 staff across multiple brands.  We can't wait for the next 25 years to see where we go next!

September saw our annual Charity Golf Day, this year raising money for Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven at Gaudet Luce Golf Club, Droitwich. We are proud to announce that we raised a whopping £2520 with the help of suppliers who gifted raffle prizes as well as our amazing guests who donated generously. 

Family is important to us at hotelshopUK, so why not get the family involved in the fun!   To start our hotelshopUK Olympics, we hosted a family fun day for all of us, enjoying races, welly wanging and a game of rounders!   Not forgetting to mention the all important lighting of the hotelshopUK Olympic torch ahead of it's Droitwich tour between offices.

We were honoured to win the Employer of the Year Award at Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Awards 2024.   It is so easy to celebrate the wins without remembering the hard work that we have put in to achieve the results.   We have worked as a team to ensure we develop and work towards hotelshopUK being the best place to work.   We are a WHOLE team and work together to create a fabulous workplace where we can give the best service.   Thank you to all our colleagues who helped us work on hotelshopUK and grow.

It is with great pleasure that we have been assessed and awarded as a Silver Accredited Carbon Literate Organisation. Sustainability has become a key part of our business operations and behaviours and we have set out a clear and simple plan of how we are going to tackle sustainability.  Becoming Carbon Literate has been a large part of this plan, so we look forward to planning forward.

We are so proud that Great Little Breaks has won a trophy at the 2024 Travel Weekly Globe Travel Awards for Best UK Holiday Operator.  Not only have they won the award, they have made it a hat trick and won for the third year in a row! Thank you to the whole Great Little Breaks team for working incredibly hard in each role that you do, you are truly an amazing team. A rather important thank you goes out to the travel agents who voted for us this year.  We can't put it into words how honoured we are that we are your choice for the award.

There is never a dull moment at hotelshopUK, and the Charity Pub Quiz was no exception!  Bringing together friends and family, hosted at Gaudet Luce Golf Club, we enjoyed a night of hysterics whilst testing our brains!  The quiz and the prize raffle raised £667 for our charity of the year.
