It is with great pleasure that we have been assessed and awarded as a Silver Accredited Carbon Literate Organisation. Sustainability has become a key part of our business operations and behaviours and we have set out a clear and simple plan of how we are going to tackle sustainability.  Becoming Carbon Literate has been a large part of this plan, so we look forward to planning forward.

We are so proud that Great Little Breaks has won a trophy at the 2024 Travel Weekly Globe Travel Awards for Best UK Holiday Operator.  Not only have they won the award, they have made it a hat trick and won for the third year in a row! Thank you to the whole Great Little Breaks team for working incredibly hard in each role that you do, you are truly an amazing team. A rather important thank you goes out to the travel agents who voted for us this year.  We can't put it into words how honoured we are that we are your choice for the award.

There is never a dull moment at hotelshopUK, and the Charity Pub Quiz was no exception!  Bringing together friends and family, hosted at Gaudet Luce Golf Club, we enjoyed a night of hysterics whilst testing our brains!  The quiz and the prize raffle raised £667 for our charity of the year.

Science-based targets provide a clearly defined pathway for companies to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, helping prevent the worst impacts of climate change and future-proof business growth.  Targets are considered ‘science-based’ if they are in line with what the latest climate science deems necessary to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement – limiting global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
