The Company takes all necessary steps to ensure the promotion of sound, moral and ethical practices throughout the whole of its business and recognises that we have a responsibility to our employees, customers and suppliers to ensure we have a clear Modern Slavery policy.
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking within our supply chains or in any part of our business and require that our supply chain partners adhere to the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We undertake all necessary and practicable steps, to ensure that our standards are being implemented throughout our supply chain.
Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. The Company has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.

Our suppliers
The Company operates a supplier policy and maintains a preferred supplier list. We conduct due diligence on all suppliers before allowing them to become a preferred supplier. Our anti-slavery policy forms part of our contract with all suppliers and they are required to confirm that no part of their business operations contradicts this policy.
In addition to the above, as part of our contract with suppliers, we require that they confirm to us that:
- They uphold minimum commitments relating to labour standards. These standards should meet the four ‘core’ ILO conventions on labour rights (evidence of compliance is required)
- All applicable minimum wages, benefits and working hours’ standards are complied with and that short term or temporary contracts to avoid providing full employee benefits for low wage workers are not used
- All relevant health and safety laws and regulations are complied with both in letter and in spirit
- Employees are protected from discrimination, on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
- We may terminate the contract at any time should any instances of modern slavery come to light
Training
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, we provide training to our staff, so that they understand the signs of modern slavery and what to do if they suspect that it is taking place within our supply chain.
Our performance indicators
We will know the effectiveness of the steps that we are taking to ensure that slavery and/or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain if:
- No reports are received from employees, the public, or law enforcement agencies to indicate that modern slavery practices have been identified
Review
The Company commits to periodically reviewing this policy in order to continually improve standards within the workplace. The Company shall take into consideration: changes in legislation, legal advice as necessary and any other requirements to which the Company subscribes, to ensure the adequacy, suitability and continuing effectiveness of this policy.
