CSR Policy

“Giving” is the G in our company’s DELIGHT values and the company has over 15 year’s history of giving - both to its employees and through involvement with the local community and charities further afield. We look after employee wellbeing with a wealth of free medical services from health to dental from ophthalmic to chiropractic. We also provide employees with flexible working arrangements and provide additional arrangements for carers, adoption, TA training and similar activities. We believe that we have a responsibility to support people in finding jobs and select temporary staff where we think we can assist with their future career progression. We also regularly have youngsters in for taster weeks and get involved with “Spread the word” sessions in local schools. Read more about our Corporate Social Responsibility. Viv believes in setting the staff a challenge and in 2009 she pledged that the company would raise £10k for the Prince’s Trust in the company’s 10th Anniversary year. The whole team at hotelshopuk got involved in organising golfing competitions, jumble sales and an Arctic Challenge. Needless to say the target was smashed and over £15k was raised. This year the 15/15 challenge (link to 15/15 page) is underway to raise £15,000 to celebrate our 15th birthday and help two charities nominated by staff – the Little Princess Trust in Hereford and the Ruimveldt Children’s Aid Centre in Guyana.
